Welcome to the Bass Coast DSA
We are calling all surfers and volunteer’s to come and join the fun in Inverloch and Phillip Island. Whether you want to volunteer your time or come on down for a surf as a participant, it is sure to be a very special day for all.
There are volunteer roles for everyone, in water and out, you don’t need to be a Kelly Slater or a Stephanie Gilmour to help out at these events. We want to be able to provide people with a disability greater access to the beaches all year round. By working with the community our aim is to make the beach accessible and within reach of everyone. We will supply sunscreen, water and a sausage sizzle. Please bring your hats and a towel! Please make sure to register now.
It is not just our surfers that have a day to remember it’s also our volunteer’s who usually can’t believe the amazing buzz they feel when they leave our event knowing they have just helped to ‘Make Someone’s Summer’ very special.

Our events are held at Inverloch Beach adjacent to the Inverloch Surf Lifesaving Club and at Smiths Beach, Phillip Island.
Event times 11am-2pm, with volunteers arriving at 10am for a 10:30am briefing.
We require registration for events which can be done via the link below:
Events will only be cancelled if there are dangerous conditions such as wild/big surf; strong winds and/or thunder storms. In the event of a cancellation we will post notices on our Facebook page.
